I was walking through a souk in Dubai one morning when I was overcome by the bakhour scents emanating from a nearby shop that was diffusing a strong odour of Oud. This was the first time that an aroma had affected me so strongly. Time seemed to have stopped.

In the top note, the oud very discreetly accompanies notes of saffron and intoxicating fruits (prune and blackcurrant). Middle notes of tuberose, rose, ylang ylang accord continue to let it wait in the background. Finally it is liberated: bewitching, persistent and profound, all thanks to a remarkable combination of precious woods (santal amyris, malaysian gurjum, cipriol, indian jastamansi).
